Cheques can be received in the mail or electronic fund transfer can be requested. Cheques are typically mailed within 1 to 2 business days, but may take 5 to 10 business days to reach you, depending on Canada Post delivery times. EFT payments usually take 1 to 2 days to be deposited into your account but may take up to 5 days depending on your financial institution.

You can find your advisor contact details on your most recent statement  or by logging in to your MyEmpireTM account, and by clicking the arrow on either My Insurance or My Investments next to your premium amount from the main screen and then click on  My Advisor

You may qualify to withdraw some or all of the value in your locked in plan, depending on applicable pension legislation / province of agreement. We strongly suggest that you contact your financial advisor to review eligibility for unlocking funds. You may also contact our Customer Service team directly at 1 800 561 1268 to confirm the applicable pension legislation, eligibility and requirements.
