Michel Tessier, RVP Eastern Canada retired last month following a successful 29-year career at Empire Life. “Michel has been instrumental in successfully building our Quebec business— passionately leading the Group sales team in Eastern Canada as well as being a leader in our Montreal office,” said Dara Brachman, Vice President, Group Distribution. “We extend our very best wishes to Michel and thank him for his leadership and friendship.”
Marc-André Blondeau is replacing Michel as RVP Eastern Canada. Marc-André has previously worked in Sales and Operational leadership roles at another Quebec-based carrier for the last 25 years. Most recently he was Manager of Brokerage Sales for Quebec, leading a team of Account Executives.
“Marc-André has strong relationships with our distribution partners in the Eastern region, built on trust and excellent service,” said Brachman. Marc-André will provide market-facing leadership to the Eastern Canada Group Distribution team, working closely with our Account Executives.
