Empire Life Disability Credit Protect offers protection for you and your family if you can’t work due to a disability but still need to pay your mortgage, rent or other monthly credit obligations.
It’s optional coverage that you can add to a new life insurance policy from Empire Life. It could pay a monthly benefit for up to 24 months to help ensure you can maintain your lifestyle while you recover.
Choose either a 12-month or a 24-month benefit period plan, and cover eligible debts for up to $3,500 per month or 3.5% of the life insurance you are applying for, whichever is lower.
Qualify by answering “no” to some simple health questions.
Receive the monthly benefit directly and decide how best to use it. Since you are the owner, your coverage stays with you even when you change lenders.
