Spending Accounts

Health Care Spending Accounts offer a flexible way to provide coverage for a broad range of health-related expenses. Eligible expenses are outlined and administered following the Canada Revenue Agency guidelines for eligible medical expenses.

The Incidental Health Expense provides plan members with the flexibility to receive reimbursement for health and dental expenses, including costs not covered by their core plan. Similar to a Health Care Spending Account, an Incidental Health Expense gives plan members the flexibility to use their coverage where they receive the most value but allows the plan sponsor to share the cost of this benefit with plan members.
