For Solution Term Life Insurance policies issued after 2017 you can view the following details online at MyEmpireTM:

  • Coverage details
  • Paid to date
  • Who's covered and how much for each life insured 
  • Important dates such as the term renewal date and next payment
  • Payment details such as premium payment, frequency and amount
  • Relationships such as your beneficiaries
  • Your advisor’s name and contact information

 

For Whole Life and Universal Life Insurance policies you can view these extra details online at MyEmpireTM:

  • policy cash values
  • dividend options and details
  • investment options and coverages (where applicable)
  • loan details (where applicable)
  • cash surrender value

 

For all other policies, we are continuing to improve our online experience and expect that similar details will be available in the near future. General segregated fund policy information is available online by logging into your MyEmpireTM account. There you can find:

  • Basic policy information on your annuities, such as your coverage and payment details.
  • Daily market values of your funds
  • Net Growth and transaction details
  • Death and maturity guarantee amounts
  • Payment details such as pre-authorized deposits or RRIF withdrawal amounts, dates and frequency
  • Relationships such as your beneficiaries
  • Your advisor’s name and contact information


You can also

  • Verify, and update your residential address and phone number
  • Sign up for electronic investment statements, and we’ll email you when your eStatements are ready

You may obtain your policy market value by registering for your MyEmpireTM account and viewing your market values from the home screen.

Additionally, you may contact Customer Service directly at 1 800 561 1268 and we can confirm any such values for you.

For in-progress Fast and Full applications, Empire Life accepts credit, debit, cheque, PayPal or online payments for the initial premium. For payment of other premiums once a policy is in force, we accept cheque, telephone banking, online payment or pre-authorized debit. 

 

To make an online payment via your financial institution for your individual policy premium, please use the following information:

Term life insurance premiums increase on the renewal date at the end of each term depending on which product you purchased whether it be Term (i.e. year) 10, 20, 25 or 30.
